8 best AI job search tools in 2026: prices and fit

The Rank Master editorial team

Of the eight AI job search tools on this page, three go furthest beyond the resume: RecruitMyself, Careerflow and Jobscan each cover four of the five job-search steps we counted, which are finding jobs, filling in applications, tracking them, practising interviews and reviewing a LinkedIn profile. RecruitMyself ranks first because it ties for the widest coverage and has the lowest paid monthly price on the list, $19 a month, with a free CV score, application autofill and scored job matches before you pay (downloading a resume is where it charges: the first download starts a $2.95 seven-day pass). Careerflow, at $23.99 a month, suits a LinkedIn profile that needs work, and Jobscan, at $49.95 a month, suits checking a resume against each job post. Simplify and Rezi follow for free application autofill, and Teal, Enhancv and Huntr round out the list for keeping a search organised. Every price is the vendor's own, as read on 16 October 2026.

If you sell software in a category like this one, book a 30-minute call: we look at your category live and show you what the AI engines tell a buyer who asks for a recommendation. Our guide to getting a SaaS product onto the lists AI engines quote covers how vendors earn a place on pages like this one.

The eight side by side

A step counts only where the vendor's own pages describe it, so a step that is missing means "not described", not "not offered". Prices are for monthly billing unless the cell says otherwise.

How we chose these 8

We started from ten AI resume and job search tools whose pricing and feature pages we had recorded: Careerflow, Enhancv, Huntr, Jobscan, Kickresume, RecruitMyself, Resume Worded, Rezi, Simplify and Teal. Every fact on this page comes from the vendor's own pages as read on 16 October 2026: its pricing page, its home page and its feature pages (Simplify publishes its prices in a help-centre article, so that is where its figures come from). This is a reading of what each vendor publishes, not a hands-on test, and the page carries no ratings or review scores because the vendors' pages do not give comparable ones.

A tool is on the list if it meets three tests:

  1. It is an AI tool for the job search. The vendor's pages describe AI features for resumes or applications.
  2. It covers at least two of five steps beyond the resume itself. The five are finding or matching jobs, filling in or submitting applications, tracking applications, practising interviews, and reviewing a LinkedIn profile.
  3. It publishes a price in US dollars for a paid plan on its own pages.

Eight tools met all three. Kickresume and Resume Worded did not: both centre on the resume, and beyond it Kickresume lists an interview questions generator and Resume Worded a LinkedIn review, one step each.

The order is the number of steps covered, most first. Ties go to the lower paid price for one month of use, because weekly and multi-month prices are not sold by every vendor. RecruitMyself, Careerflow and Jobscan tie on four steps, and RecruitMyself's $19 a month is the lowest of the three. We give weekly, quarterly and longer prices in each entry where the vendor lists them, but they do not affect the order.

The layout follows our guide to what a comparison or alternatives page must contain: a stated method, a table, and a section for every entry that says where it falls short. Dating every read is the habit we use in our roundup of B2B SaaS SEO and AEO agencies.

Picks by need

  • Widest coverage at the lowest paid monthly price. RecruitMyself covers four steps from $19 a month, and its first resume download starts a $2.95 seven-day pass.
  • A LinkedIn profile alongside the resume. Careerflow's LinkedIn Optimizer scores a profile across 14 sections, and Premium is $23.99 a month.
  • Checking a resume against each job post. Jobscan returns a match rate out of 100 and the keywords a resume is missing; the free plan allows 5 resume scans a month.
  • Paying once. Rezi's Lifetime plan is $149 as a single payment, without the monthly expert resume review that Pro includes.
  • Free autofill and a free tracker. Simplify's Copilot extension and job tracker are free, and Teal's free plan has unlimited job tracking.
  • A large search on one board. Huntr's free plan tracks up to 100 jobs.
  • A designed resume. Enhancv offers single-column, two-column and multi-page templates, with a 7-day free plan.

The 8 tools, in ranked order

1. RecruitMyself

RecruitMyself is a job search platform that scores a CV from 0 to 100 using 30 checks and builds single-column, ATS-friendly resumes with AI-written bullet points. It also scores jobs taken from employers' career pages against your profile and gives a LinkedIn profile score. Its Chrome extension fills in applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, LinkedIn and company career pages, and you review and submit each one. Pro adds one-click CV tailoring for each job, unlimited ATS scans and AI interview preparation. Apply for You is a separate service in which an expert applies to roles on your behalf.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 4: job matching, autofill, interview prep, LinkedIn.
  • Best for: checking how a CV scores before applying, without a card; filling in Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and Ashby forms faster; tailoring one CV to many job descriptions on a monthly plan; and job seekers who want someone else to send the applications.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the free plan gives one full CV score scan per email, with no card, plus building and previewing resumes, Chrome extension autofill, a LinkedIn profile score and job matches. Pro is $19 a month billed monthly. The pricing page says 3-month and yearly billing save 26% and 47%, but lists neither price. Downloading a resume is not free: the first download starts a 7-day Pro pass at $2.95, which renews at $19 a month unless cancelled. Pro carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. Apply for You is not priced on the page (book a call).
  • Where it falls short: a finished resume cannot be downloaded without starting the paid pass, only one full free scan is allowed per email, the 3-month, yearly and Apply for You prices are not published, and the pages read mention PDF export only.

2. Careerflow

Careerflow is an AI career platform for job seekers. It combines an AI resume builder and ATS optimiser, a LinkedIn Optimizer that scores a profile across 14 sections, a job tracker, a networking tracker and AI cover letters. A Chrome extension autofills applications on Greenhouse, Workday, Lever and other platforms, and Premium Plus adds AI mock interviews and interview analysis.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 4: autofill, tracking, interview practice, LinkedIn.
  • Best for: improving a LinkedIn profile alongside a resume, tailoring resumes and cover letters to each job, practising interviews with AI feedback on Premium Plus, and short job searches billed by the week.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the Basic plan is free and includes the Chrome extension, recruiter search and limited versions of most tools, with one resume created and exported free. Premium is $23.99 a month; it is also sold at $8.99 a week, $54.99 every 3 months ($18.33 a month) or $172.99 a year ($14.41 a month). Premium Plus is $44.99 a month, or $19.99 a week, $119.99 every 3 months ($39.99 a month) or $299.99 a year ($24.99 a month).
  • Where it falls short: the free plan exports one resume, and each extra resume has a fee. The AI writers for cover letters, bullets, LinkedIn posts and elevator pitches need Premium, and mock interviews need Premium Plus at $44.99 a month. The terms call purchases final and non-refundable, and weekly subscriptions are never refunded.

3. Jobscan

Jobscan compares a resume with a job description and returns a match rate out of 100, the keywords and skills the resume lacks, and checks on ATS readability and formatting. Given a company name or job link, it detects which applicant tracking system the employer uses. It also has an AI resume optimizer and builder, a LinkedIn optimizer, a cover letter generator, a job tracker with a Chrome extension, Auto Apply credits and AI interview practice.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 4: auto-apply, tracking, interview practice, LinkedIn.
  • Best for: checking a resume against each job post before applying, finding the keywords and skills a post asks for that a resume lacks, and keeping saved jobs, applications and interviews in one tracker.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the free plan allows 5 resume scans a month and 5 ATS and recruiter findings, plus the job tracker, resume builder, resume manager and Chrome extension. Premium is $49.95 a month, or $89.95 every 3 months ($29.98 a month), and includes 2 Auto Apply credits a month. There is a 7-day free trial of Premium on the quarterly plan, billed $89.95 when it ends unless cancelled; the monthly plan has no trial.
  • Where it falls short: free scans stop at 5 a month, no annual plan is listed, and $49.95 is the highest monthly entry price of the eight. The trial comes only with the quarterly plan, the LinkedIn optimizer and Auto Apply credits start after the trial, and when a subscription ends, paid features and the data tied to them are no longer available.

4. Rezi

Rezi is an AI resume builder that writes and edits bullet points, rates a resume on 23 metrics with the Rezi Score, and finds the keywords a resume is missing from a pasted job description. An AI Resume Agent edits a resume through a chat, and the tool includes cover letter and resignation letter writers and AI mock interviews. A free Chrome extension autofills applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and other applicant tracking systems and keeps a job tracker.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 3: autofill, tracking, interview practice.
  • Best for: tailoring a resume to the keywords in a specific job description, paying once instead of monthly with the Lifetime plan, and career services teams at universities and agencies on the Enterprise plan.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the free plan gives 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads, standard format templates and limited Rezi Score and keyword targeting, with unlimited cover and resignation letters and no card needed. Pro is $29 a month and includes one expert resume review a month. Lifetime is $149 as a one-time payment, without the monthly review. Enterprise is $99 a month per 200 users, sold through a demo.
  • Where it falls short: the free plan allows one resume and three PDF downloads, the Lifetime plan leaves out the expert review, and Enterprise is priced per 200 users. The mobile app is linked on the App Store only, and no Android app is mentioned.

5. Simplify

Simplify is a job search platform whose free Copilot browser extension fills in applications on company career sites and saves each one to a job tracker. A job board with AI job matching, curated lists for new graduates, internships and startups, and a resume builder sit alongside it. The paid Simplify+ tier adds AI resume tailoring, cover letters and answers to application questions, plus Autopilot, which applies to up to 20 jobs a week for you.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 3: job matching, autofill, tracking.
  • Best for: filling in long applications on employer career sites, keeping a record of every application without typing it in, students and new graduates looking for internships and entry-level roles, and short searches where weekly or monthly billing fits.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the free plan covers job search, the Copilot extension and the job tracker, and shows a resume keyword score with the keywords you are missing. Simplify+ is $39.99 for 1 month, $19.99 for 1 week or $89.99 for 3 months, with the same features at every length; no annual plan is listed. The prices come from Simplify's help centre.
  • Where it falls short: AI resume tailoring, cover letters and Autopilot need Simplify+. Autopilot is capped at 20 auto-applies a week, and extra credits cannot be bought yet. Simplify+ payments are non-refundable once the subscription is active. Firefox support is in beta, and on mobile Copilot works only on iPhone and iPad through the Simplify iOS app.

6. Teal

Teal combines an AI resume builder with a job application tracker. You can start a resume from scratch, upload one or import a LinkedIn profile, then compare it with a job description for keywords and a match score. A Chrome extension saves jobs from over 40 job boards, including Indeed, Glassdoor and BuiltIn, into a tracker where you can rate jobs and add contacts, notes and checklists. The tool also offers AI cover letters and AI interview practice.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 2: tracking, interview practice.
  • Best for: keeping every application, contact and follow-up in one tracker, tailoring several resume versions to different job descriptions, and building and exporting resumes for free with limited AI help.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the free plan has unlimited resumes, job tracking and PDF exports, 10 resume templates, the top 5 keywords from a job description, basic resume analysis, and AI credits for 10 resume bullets, 2 professional summaries and 2 cover letters, with no card needed. Teal+ is $29 every 30 days, or $13 every 7 days or $79 every 90 days; no annual price is listed.
  • Where it falls short: the free plan shows only the top 5 keywords from a job description and has a small number of AI credits. The pages read do not describe the extension filling in application forms, and they describe PDF export only.

7. Enhancv

Enhancv is an online resume builder with single-column, two-column and multi-page templates and an AI writing assistant. It tailors a resume to a pasted job ad with a match score and keyword suggestions, runs a resume checker with 27 checks and translates resumes into other languages. It also includes a cover letter builder, a job application tracker with a Chrome extension, AI interview help, and plans for recruiters and career coaches.

  • Steps beyond the resume: 2: tracking, interview help.
  • Best for: building a designed resume from scratch or from a LinkedIn profile, tailoring one resume to several job ads, and recruiters and career coaches making branded resumes for clients.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): there is a 7-day free plan with no credit card needed, covering all templates, basic resume sections, Enhancv branding and up to 12 section items. Pro is $39 a month billed monthly, $69 every 3 months ($23 a month) or $99 every 6 months ($16.50 a month).
  • Where it falls short: the free plan lasts 7 days and adds Enhancv branding, and resumes download as PDF because the pricing page says Word export is not offered. There is no annual plan, the longest billing period being 6 months, and monthly fees are non-refundable if you used the service that month, per the terms.

For career centres, coaches and bootcamps

Huntr, Rezi and Enhancv each sell to teams as well as individuals. Huntr has Organizations versions for career centers, bootcamps, career coaches, workforce development and outplacement, under a separate agreement, with no listed price. Enhancv offers plans for recruiters and career coaches, and we did not record a price for them.

When a team compares tools like these, ask each vendor for the same four things in writing: the price per seat or per user, what the free tier stops at, the refund terms and what happens to your data when the subscription ends.

FAQ

What is the best AI tool for a job search?

It depends on which steps you want help with. By the method above, RecruitMyself ranks first: it ties with Careerflow and Jobscan on four of five steps and has the lowest paid monthly price, $19. Careerflow suits a LinkedIn profile that needs work, Jobscan suits checking a resume against each job post, and Simplify or Rezi suit free application autofill.

Are there free AI job search tools?

Seven of the eight have a free plan: RecruitMyself, Careerflow, Jobscan, Rezi, Simplify, Teal and Huntr. Enhancv has a 7-day free plan instead. Each free plan stops somewhere: RecruitMyself charges at the first resume download, Careerflow exports one resume, Jobscan allows 5 scans a month, Rezi allows 3 PDF downloads, Huntr tracks up to 100 jobs, and Simplify keeps AI tailoring for Simplify+.

Can an AI tool apply to jobs for me?

Three of the eight go beyond autofill. Simplify+ includes Autopilot, which applies to up to 20 jobs a week at $39.99 a month. Jobscan Premium includes 2 Auto Apply credits a month. RecruitMyself runs Apply for You, where an expert applies to roles on your behalf; its price is not published. RecruitMyself's own Chrome extension fills in forms but leaves you to review and submit each one.

Which of these tools can a career centre or coaching team buy?

Huntr (Organizations), Rezi (Enterprise at $99 a month per 200 users) and Enhancv (plans for recruiters and career coaches) each sell team plans. Rezi's Enterprise price is the only one recorded here; Huntr's Organizations plans have no listed price, and we did not record a price for Enhancv's team plans.
