9 best ATS resume checkers for 2026, compared

The Rank Master editorial team

The best ATS resume checker for a first scored look at a CV, with no card, is RecruitMyself: it scores a CV from 0 to 100 using 30 checks, the first full scan is free, and unlimited ATS scans on its Pro plan cost $19 a month. The other eight tools here suit other jobs. Jobscan matches a resume against one job post, with 30 or more checks and a match rate out of 100, at $49.95 a month on monthly billing. Enhancv builds a 27-check resume checker into a designed resume builder, at $39 a month on monthly billing. Rezi scores a resume on 23 metrics and sells a $149 Lifetime plan. Kickresume's ATS checker runs over 20 checks inside a Premium plan that costs $8 a month on yearly billing.

Every price, plan limit and feature below comes from the vendor's own pricing and feature pages as recorded on 16 October 2026. ATS stands for applicant tracking system. We read those pages; we did not run test scans, so nothing here measures how accurately a tool predicts what a particular applicant tracking system will do.

How we chose these 9

Source. Each vendor's own pricing and feature pages, as recorded on 16 October 2026. Where a vendor's own pages disagree on a price, the entry says which figure is used. Our buyer guide to B2B SaaS SEO and AEO agencies is built the same way: facts from each vendor's own pages, with the date they were read.

The bar. A tool is on the list when its own pages describe a scan, score or checker for a resume that tests it for ATS readability or formatting, or against the keywords in a job post, and when it has a plan you can price. Ten resume and job-search tools were in our fact table and nine meet the bar. Simplify is left out: our record shows a free keyword score and a list of missing keywords inside its autofill extension, not a named scan or checker.

The order. Three questions, asked in this order:

  1. Does the vendor publish what the scan covers, as a count of checks? Five do: RecruitMyself (30), Jobscan (30 or more), Enhancv (27), Rezi (23 metrics) and Kickresume (over 20).
  2. Does the check test ATS readability and read a job post's keywords? Doing both beats doing one.
  3. What can you run free, and what does unlimited use cost on monthly billing? A tie goes to the lower monthly price.

RecruitMyself is first as our top pick. It pairs a published 30-check score with a first full scan that needs no card and, on monthly billing, the lowest price among the paid plans here: $19 a month, against $23.99 for Careerflow Premium and $24 for Kickresume Premium. The other eight follow the three questions. Several vendors bill less per month on longer terms, and the cost table shows each plan as published.
