9 Best Social Media Schedulers for Multi-Brand Agencies (2026)

The Rank Master editorial team

For an agency managing multiple brands, the best social media scheduler is the one whose price follows the brand rather than every connected channel. Of the nine tools below, PostWharf is our top pick on that test: it bills per workspace, one workspace per brand, with unlimited channels and no per-channel fee, from $15 a month. If clients need to preview and approve posts, Sendible offers Client Connect, client dashboards and approval workflows, with unlimited users on every plan; its plans start at $35 a month. If you want several small brands on one plan, Metricool covers up to 5 brands from $25 a month. Prices are in US dollars, read from each vendor's own pages on 16 October 2026.

If the brands you manage are B2B SaaS companies that also need to be found in Google and recommended by the seven AI engines buyers ask first, book a 30-minute call with The Rank Master.

The 9 schedulers side by side

A scheduler can look cheap per channel and expensive per brand, so the table shows how each one counts a brand before it shows a price.

How we chose these 9

This is a comparison of published facts, not a hands-on review. Every price, limit and feature below comes from the vendor's own pricing and feature pages, as recorded on 16 October 2026; each entry names the pages it rests on. Plans change, so confirm the figure on the vendor's page before you buy.

We started from the scheduling tools whose pages we had recorded and kept those that cleared all three parts of a minimum bar:

  1. A way to separate brands or serve clients. The pages describe a space for each brand or client (a workspace, a brand or a social set) or a feature built for clients (client connection, client dashboards, client seats, client approvals, shared client calendars or customer groups).
  2. Publishing to at least eight networks.
  3. A published US dollar price for at least one paid plan.

Nine tools passed. Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social also schedule posts, but the pages recorded for them describe billing per connected channel (Buffer) or per user seat (Hootsuite and Sprout Social) and none of the features above, so they are not ranked here. That is a statement about what those pages say, not a verdict on the tools.

We ranked the nine on three tests, in this order:

  1. How the price follows a brand. Highest is a flat price per brand with no cap on channels. Next is a space for each brand or client with a set allowance of profiles. Then a space for each brand where profiles, users or accounts are priced on top. Last are pooled accounts or channels with no space per brand.
  2. Client-facing features the vendor publishes, inside each of those steps: client connection, client dashboards or seats, approvals, shared calendars and white-label reports.
  3. The price of the cheapest plan that covers more than one brand, where the first two tests tie.

PostWharf is first on the first test, because it is the only tool here that bills per brand with unlimited channels. Its recorded pages list fewer client-facing features than Sendible's, which is why a team that needs client dashboards or white-label reports should read Sendible's entry first.

Picks by need

  • The price following the brand, with no per-channel fee: PostWharf, from $15/mo for 1 workspace and $29/mo for 3.
  • Clients who preview and approve posts: Sendible, with client dashboards and approval workflows (approvals start on Plus at $99/mo) and unlimited users on every plan.
  • Several small brands on one plan: Metricool, up to 5 brands for $25/mo or up to 10 for $45/mo.
  • White-label reports and client seats: SocialPilot Premium, $100/mo with unlimited client seats.
  • A separate workspace per client and a content-category schedule: SocialBee, with 5 workspaces on Pro at $99/mo.

  • A busy inbox of comments, messages and reviews: Agorapulse, from $99/user/mo.
  • Self-hosting or developer automation: Postiz, free to self-host, hosted plans from $29/mo.

The 9 schedulers, ranked

1. PostWharf

PostWharf is a social media publishing tool built around the brand as the unit of work. You connect every account a brand runs, write a post once with the wording adjusted for each network, and publish it now or on a schedule to ten networks: Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Telegram. Each brand gets its own workspace with its own channels, drafts, queue and history. Every post is re-checked after publishing, with one row per network, and failed deliveries retry automatically and show the reason in a status feed. A REST API, webhooks, an MCP server for AI assistants and the wharf CLI come with every plan.

  • Best for: an agency that wants the price to follow the brand: running several brands without paying for each connected channel, posting from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant through MCP, sending posts from scripts, Zapier, Make or n8n, and checking which networks actually received each post.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Starter is $15/mo, or $10/mo billed yearly, for 1 workspace, unlimited channels and 200 scheduled posts a month. Startup is $29/mo, or $23/mo billed yearly, for 3 workspaces and 400 scheduled posts a month. Plus is $67/mo, or $54/mo billed yearly, for 10 workspaces and 1,000 scheduled posts a month. Pro is $99/mo, or $79/mo billed yearly, with unlimited workspaces and 2,500 scheduled posts a month. There is no free plan; Starter comes with a 7-day free trial of Starter, and the card is charged when the trial ends.
  • Where it falls short: scheduled posts are capped each month, from 200 on Starter to 2,500 on Pro. Reddit, Discord, Snapchat and WordPress are available on request only and cannot be connected yet. Its pages do not describe analytics reports, a social inbox for replies or a mobile app. Posts drafted through an AI assistant wait for your approval before they go out, but the facts recorded for it describe no approval step for clients.

2. Sendible

Sendible is a social media management tool for agencies and multi-location brands. Its workspaces keep each client, brand or location's profiles, calendar, inbox and reports separate, and every plan includes unlimited users. It schedules to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business Profile and WordPress. Client Connect lets clients link their social profiles without sharing passwords, and client dashboards and approval workflows let them preview and approve posts.

  • Best for: agencies managing many clients that need separate workspaces and client approvals, teams with many users who want to avoid per-seat pricing, and agencies that want to resell a white-labelled dashboard.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Core is $35/mo, or $30/mo billed yearly, for 1 workspace and 6 social profiles; each extra workspace adds $35/mo on Core. Plus is $99/mo, or $84/mo billed yearly, for 3 workspaces and 18 social profiles, adds assignment and approval workflows, and charges $30/mo for an extra workspace. Premium is $199/mo, or $169/mo billed yearly, for 7 workspaces and 42 social profiles. Elite is $299/mo, or $254/mo billed yearly, for 15 workspaces and 90 social profiles. Enterprise is $750/mo, or $638/mo billed yearly, for 50 workspaces and 300 social profiles. There is no free plan; the trial is 14 days, with no card required.
  • Where it falls short: it is billed per workspace, not per user, so more profiles mean buying more workspaces. Approval workflows start on Plus at $99/mo. White label is a paid add-on only on Elite and Enterprise, starting at $349/mo (Elite) and $800/mo (Enterprise) per its pricing FAQ. Pinterest is not in its supported networks list, its API currently supports only SSO integration, and no MCP server is mentioned.

3. Metricool

Metricool is a social media planning and analytics tool that counts brands: each brand holds one profile per network. It schedules to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and X (X is an add-on), and reports on organic posts and on Facebook, Google and TikTok ads. The Metricool MCP server is on every plan, including Free.

  • Best for: agencies and freelancers managing several client brands on one plan, teams that want organic social and ad reporting in one dashboard, and small businesses starting on a free plan.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the Free plan is $0 for 1 brand, with all networks except LinkedIn and X/Twitter, 20 scheduled posts per month and 30 days of analytics. Starter is from $25/mo, or $20/mo billed annually: up to 5 brands ($25, or $20 annual) or 10 brands ($45, or $36 annual). Advanced is from $67/mo, or $53/mo billed annually: 15 brands $67 ($53 annual), 25 brands $107 ($85) and 50 brands $210 ($159), with team and client management, post approvals and an API. Custom is by contacting sales and adds white label and a dedicated account manager. Prices exclude VAT, and the pricing page lists no standard free trial.
  • Where it falls short: X/Twitter is not included: it costs $10 a month (or $120 a year) per connected account, Starter and above. The free plan excludes LinkedIn and X and keeps 30 days of analytics. Approvals, team roles and the API need Advanced. Each brand holds one profile per network and one Google Business Profile location.

4. Later

Later is a scheduler built around a visual calendar, with auto-publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat, plus Link in Bio and analytics. Each plan includes a set number of social sets (one profile per network), users and posts per profile each month. Approvals on Growth and above include external comment links for stakeholders.

  • Best for: Instagram- and TikTok-focused brands that plan content visually, creators and shops using a Link in Bio page, and small teams managing one or two brands across several networks.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Starter is $25/mo, or $18.75/mo billed yearly, for 1 social set (8 profiles), 1 user and 30 posts per profile per month. Growth is $50/mo, or $37.50/mo billed yearly, for 2 social sets (16 profiles), 2 users and 180 posts per profile per month, with approvals and a social inbox; an extra social set is $15/mo and an extra user $5/mo. Scale is $110/mo, or $82.50/mo billed yearly, for 6 social sets (48 profiles), 4 users and unlimited posts. There is no free plan, only a 14-day free trial.
  • Where it falls short: its supported networks do not include X, Bluesky or Google Business Profile. Starter has 1 set and 1 user with no add-ons, and the largest plan listed has 6 social sets.

5. SocialBee

SocialBee schedules posts by content category and posts directly to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. For networks without direct posting, such as Facebook Groups, WhatsApp and Telegram, it sends mobile reminders. It adds AI content generation, analytics and an engagement inbox, along with workspaces, user roles, post approval and internal notes.

  • Best for: agencies that need a separate workspace per client, teams recycling evergreen content on a category-based schedule, and freelancers or small businesses managing a handful of profiles.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Bootstrap is $29/mo, or $290/yr billed annually, for 5 social profiles, 1 user and 1 workspace. Accelerate is $49/mo, or $490/yr billed annually, for 10 social profiles, 1 user and 1 workspace, with post approval and a bulk editor. Pro is $99/mo, or $990/yr billed annually, for 25 social profiles, 3 users per workspace and 5 workspaces. Pro50 is $179/mo, Pro100 $329/mo and Pro150 $449/mo, with 50, 100 and 150 social profiles and 10, 20 and 30 workspaces; yearly billing on those is 16% off. Extra users and workspaces cost $10 a month each, and 5 more profiles cost $15 a month. There is no free plan; the 14-day free trial needs no credit card, and posting stops when it ends.
  • Where it falls short: profiles, users and workspaces are each priced, so a growing roster adds cost in three places. Bootstrap lacks advanced analytics, the bulk editor, CSV uploads and post approval, and keeps 3 months of analytics. Its pages do not describe a public API or an MCP server; automation runs through Zapier, Make or Pabbly.

6. Publer

Publer schedules to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and WordPress. It offers bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts from a CSV file, a calendar, recurring posts and evergreen recycling, and workspaces with member roles and approval workflows. Paid plans are priced per connected social account, plus a monthly fee for each additional team member.

  • Best for: agencies managing client workspaces with approvals, teams that bulk-schedule or recycle evergreen content, and anyone scheduling threads on X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): the Free plan is $0 for 1 user, 1 workspace, 3 social accounts (no X/Twitter), 10 scheduled posts per account, 25 saved drafts and 24-hour post history. Professional is $5/mo, or $4/mo billed yearly, for 1 social account; 3 accounts are $12/mo and 5 accounts $20/mo, extra members are $2/mo each, and workspaces are unlimited. Business is $10/mo, or $8/mo billed yearly, for 1 social account; 3 accounts are $21/mo, 5 accounts $35/mo and extra members $3/mo each, with analytics, the API and MCP. Enterprise is Custom, billed yearly. Trials run 7 days on Professional and 14 days on Business. VAT is not included.
  • Where it falls short: the cost grows with every profile and every extra member. Analytics, unlimited AI prompts, the API and MCP need the Business plan. Daily posting limits per profile apply, and unlimited daily posting is an Enterprise feature.

7. SocialPilot

SocialPilot schedules to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. It adds a social inbox, analytics, client approvals and white-label reports on higher plans, and its MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools is on every plan. Plans are priced by the number of social accounts and users.

  • Best for: agencies managing client accounts with client approvals and white-label reports, and small teams that want scheduling, a shared inbox and analytics in one tool.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Essentials is $30/mo, or $25.50/mo billed annually, for 7 social accounts and 1 user; extra accounts cost $4 a month each. Standard is $50/mo, or $42.50/mo billed annually, for 15 social accounts and 3 users. Premium is $100/mo, or $85/mo billed annually, for 25 social accounts, 6 users, unlimited client seats, bulk scheduling, client approval and white-label reports. Ultimate is $200/mo, or $170/mo billed annually, for 50 social accounts and unlimited users. Enterprise is by contacting sales. There is no free plan, only a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
  • Where it falls short: its recorded pages describe accounts and users per plan, not a workspace per brand. Essentials has no analytics, social inbox or approvals, and bulk scheduling and CSV upload start on Premium. API access is only on the Enterprise plan.

8. Agorapulse

Agorapulse is a social media management tool with publishing, a unified inbox for comments, messages and reviews, listening and reporting. It covers Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Google Business Profile. White-label report exports come on all plans, and Advanced and Custom add shared calendars for clients.

  • Best for: teams that spend much of their time replying to comments, messages and reviews, agencies sharing content calendars with clients, and marketers who report social media ROI with Google Analytics.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): Standard is $99/user/mo, or $79/user/mo billed annually, with 10 social profiles shared across all users; extra profiles are $15/mo each on monthly billing or $10/mo on annual. Professional is $149/user/mo, or $119/user/mo billed annually, and adds simple approval workflows. Advanced is $199/user/mo, or $149/user/mo billed annually, and adds bulk CSV scheduling, queues and 5 shared calendars. Custom is tailored pricing. There is no free plan; the 30-day free trial of the Advanced plan runs as two 15-day periods and needs no card.
  • Where it falls short: it is priced per user, so each added user costs the full plan rate. Shared client calendars, bulk CSV scheduling and queues need Advanced at $149/user/mo billed annually. X inbox and reporting need the X Plus add-on at $50 per X profile per month. The reports API, SSO and multi-step approvals are only on Custom, which is sold through a demo.

9. Postiz

Postiz is an open-source social media scheduler that publishes to 34 platforms, including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Discord and Bluesky. Hosted plans are priced by connected channels, and the AGPL-3.0 code can be self-hosted for free. Its MCP server, CLI, public REST API and webhooks come with every plan, and it lists posting sets, signatures and customer groups for clients.

  • Best for: teams that want to self-host their scheduler, scheduling from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or other AI agents through MCP or the CLI, and posting to community and developer channels such as Reddit, Discord, Slack, Dev.to and Mastodon.
  • What it costs (read 16 October 2026): self-hosted is $0, on your own server. Standard is $29/mo, or $23/mo billed yearly, for 5 channels, unlimited posts and no team members. Team is $39/mo, or $31/mo billed yearly, for 10 channels and unlimited team members. Pro is $49/mo, or $39/mo billed yearly, for 30 channels. Ultimate is $99/mo, or $79/mo billed yearly, for 100 channels. There is no free hosted plan; the 7-day free trial on every hosted plan needs a card, which is checked with a small authorisation.
  • Where it falls short: channels are pooled and priced by count, and Standard has no team members. Self-hosting means registering your own developer app with most networks, which can take weeks for Meta, YouTube and TikTok. Annual plans are not refundable.

Questions buyers ask

Which of these schedulers let clients approve posts?

Seven of the nine describe an approval step, and four of those describe one aimed at clients. Sendible offers client dashboards and approval workflows, with approvals starting on Plus at $99/mo. SocialPilot offers client approval and unlimited client seats from Premium at $100/mo. Agorapulse offers shared calendars for clients on Advanced and Custom. Later includes external comment links for stakeholders in its approvals on Growth and above. The other three describe approvals without saying who approves: Metricool has post approvals on Advanced, Publer has approval workflows in its workspaces, and SocialBee has post approval from Accelerate. For PostWharf, the facts recorded describe an approval step only for posts drafted through an AI assistant, and for Postiz they describe none.

Do social media schedulers charge per user, per channel or per brand?

All three exist, and the unit changes the bill more than the headline price. PostWharf bills per workspace, which is one brand, with no per-channel fee. Sendible bills per workspace of 6 social profiles with unlimited users. Metricool bills by the number of brands, in tiers from 5 to 50. Later bills by social set and user. SocialBee bills by social profiles, users and workspaces. Publer bills per connected social account plus a monthly fee for each extra team member. SocialPilot bills by social accounts and users, Postiz by connected channels, and Agorapulse per user, with 10 profiles shared across users.

Which of these schedulers has a free plan?

Two publish a free hosted plan, and one is free to self-host. Metricool's free plan covers 1 brand, with 20 scheduled posts a month, no LinkedIn or X, and 30 days of analytics. Publer's covers 1 user, 1 workspace and 3 social accounts, with no X/Twitter, 10 scheduled posts per account and 24-hour post history. Postiz's open-source code is free to self-host, though you register each network's developer app yourself. The rest offer trials only: 7 days for PostWharf and Postiz (Postiz needs a card), 14 days for Sendible, Later, SocialBee and SocialPilot, and 30 days for Agorapulse.
